TIPS
Makeup isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept. The colors and formulas you choose should be based on your coloring, skin type, and facial structure. Do you have high cheekbones? Almond-shaped eyes? Naturally flushed skin and freckles? All of these factors—and more—should determine the makeup toward which you gravitate. And it’s not just about choosing the right makeup; it’s about how you apply it. You could have the most perfect makeup shade in the world for your coloring, but if you don’t put it on skillfully, you can still end up looking overloaded and overdone. Remember, though: Simplicity is key. If you’re confused or unsure, a lesson with Simply Moore will set you on the right track.

“I believe every face has Diana Ross and the Supremes on it. I see the eyes as Diana Ross, and the lips and cheeks as the Supremes. Like Diana, sometimes eyes can stand alone, and need little help from the cheeks and lips to sparkle in harmony. Other times, Diana needs her Supremes—on occasion, they're the strongest part of a song. But, no matter what, the Supremes always make Diana look fabulous. In the case of makeup, the cheeks and lips should always work to make the eyes the main attraction—and never steal the show.”
